Teacher Training Day 1: A Great Start with Hope School!

We are excited to share the highlights from Day 1 of our Teacher Training program this summer, focusing on the observation of nursery and primary school teachers. This initiative aims to enhance the skills and techniques of our educators, ensuring the best possible learning environment for our youngest students.

Observing Excellence in Action

The first day was filled with insightful observations as our co-founder Susan Oertle had the opportunity to watch the teaching style of the nursery school teachers. This hands-on approach allowed her to see how effective the teaching strategies, classroom management techniques, and creative lesson plans are in action.

Partnering with Hope School

A huge thank you to Hope School for inviting us to partner with them on this important journey! Their collaboration has been invaluable, together we hope to provide a supportive environment for the teachers to learn and grow. The staff at Hope School shared their wealth of knowledge and best practices, making the first day a tremendous success.

Key Takeaways

Here are some of the key takeaways from Day 1:

1. Engagement Techniques: Susan observed various methods the teachers use to keep young learners engaged and interested in their lessons.

2. Classroom Management: Effective classroom management strategies were demonstrated, helping teachers maintain a positive and productive learning atmosphere.

 Moving Forward

The observations and insights gained on Day 1 have set a strong foundation for the rest of the training program. We are all eager to apply what was learned today and to continue to develop useful skills over the coming days.

Stay tuned for more updates as we progress through the training program. We are excited to see the positive impact this initiative will have on the educators and, ultimately, on the students they teach.

Thank you for your continued support!
